Before I was a UX/UI designer, I was a consumer researcher at an agency. Seeing the world from consumers’ perspectives was exciting, but I wanted a more active role in solving their problems.
The same things that drew me to research drew me to digital product design — a passion for data-driven strategy, an interest in social behavior, perception and context, and the desire to tackle complex problems. My design education at IronHack helped prepare me for the transition.
